WWE News: From Jeff Hardy’s victory to John Cena’s performance; Here are all the highlights from the show

Even before the show aired live, this week’s SmackDown event caused quite a stir in the WWE Universe due to the coronavirus virus crisis. On 11 March 2020, it was reported that in keeping with the outbreak of COVID-19, WWE organizers decided to change the venue of the show. The event, which was originally scheduled to take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, was broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. And that was not all. The wrestlers were also to perform in an empty stadium.

The show has everything from action-packed matches to verbal confrontations and interviews. One of the major attractions of the show was, beyond doubt, the presence of John Cena. WWE organizers told fans about the feud between Cena and Bray Wyatt. The wrestlers, who are scheduled for the upcoming WrestleMania 36 event, which will take place in April, talked about each other. Triple H kills the SmackDown show in an empty center. Another distance from the show was that WWE announced Goldberg and Roman Reigns, which would feature at the upcoming SmackDown show before the Horns were discontinued at the WrestleMania 36 event.

Here are the results:

Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss:

Sasha Banks and her friend Bayley enter the ring against their longtime enemies Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Sasha and Bayley jokingly played to a crowd that wasn’t there and announced on the mic that they don’t care how many fans are happy for them, they are still the best..

Daniel Bryan defeated Cesaro:

Daniel Bryan entered the ring against Cesaro and delivered an action-packed match. When it started with a high kick and a European uppercuts, it seemed that Cesaro’s match was under his control when Daniel was hit by a deadlift superplex. However, Daniel ends the match by knocking down Cesaro.

Jeff Hardy defeated Baron Corbin:

Jeff Hardy returned to SmackDown on Friday night after a long break and won the match against Baron Corbin. He even changed the name of his finishing move during the fight. The wrestler hit the Twist of Fate to wreak his luck on King Corbin. But he did not refer to it as “Twist of Fate”. He called it the “twist of fury”.
