Ever since the arrest of actress Rhea Chakraborty by the NCB in connection with the unfortunate death of her former lover and actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, many celebrities and leaders have come forward who have accused the media.
One such celebrity is Shweta Tripathi Sharma. The actress was recently in talks with Times Now, where she gave her opinion on the matter. She said She said that we as a community need to be sympathetic and empathetic and not jump to conclusions or comment on something that we are not aware of. She says that on a human level, this is no way to treat another person, saying that if our level of empathy is not high, it will lead to our end for us.
Shweta also explained how the case is being investigated in relation to the use of drugs, which is attracting allegations for the entire industry.
“I think we should be in a place to comment if we know something, or if we can manage our own lives. I feel that we are unable to manage our lives and then we comment on others, the ones we don’t even know. We really have no right on things in the industry like, Kaun paani pi raha hai, kaun daaru pi raha hai industry mei, kaun drugs kar raha hain humanity kaha hai? So, even if some is doing something wrong, like Mahatma Gandhi said, if someone slaps you one the left cheek, you present them the right one.”
On the professional front, Shweta was last seen in the Netflix film, Cargo, alongside Vikrant Massey. She is set to star in the much-awaited second season of Mirzapur, which is releasing next month.
