The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was one of several films to debut as a capped crusader, halting production due to the coronavirus epidemic. Matt Reeves‘ directorial completed seven weeks of shooting when things were to be taken to a standstill in March. With three months of material still left to shoot, insiders told Variety that shooting would resume in early September in the UK at Warner Bros Studios.
For now, the crew members are reportedly busy producing the film’s set this month, which initially aired rumours of shooting for The Batman’s resume. However, given the COVID-19 situation, it would not be surprising if the shooting was delayed for more weeks and perhaps months. During an interview with GQ in May, Pattinson confessed that he was living in London during the lockdown period. Although some artists are already in the UK, others are expected to move into the country soon.
Batman was released on October 1, 2021.
