One film that has been the talk of the city over the years is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the film has taken some time to begin shooting and by March 2020, the filming process is in full swing. However, due to the COVID 19 epidemic, the shooting was stopped and hence, once again, the shooting of Brahmastra was affected. Now, as the unlock has begun and many film crew are returning to work, reports are that Ranbir and Alia may start work on the pending parts of Brahmastra in a double shift at a studio in Goregaon in October.
According to the latest Mid-Day report, Ranbir and Alia need to shoot parts of starrer Brahmastra, including action scenes with Ranbir, excerpts from some conversations with Alia, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy with the main protagonist . The report states that director Ayan has prepared a double shift schedule for the cast and crew. In addition, the report saying that producer Karan Johar is tracking the June 2021 release for Brahmastra, with the director wanting to complete the shoot by December 2020. It states that Ranbir can shoot in a two-schedule with minimal crew in each.
Meanwhile, the shooting of Brahmastra has been done in many locations in India and globally. It also stars Shahrukh Khan in a cameo. Apart from Ranbir, Alia and Big B, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy will be seen in the film. Parts of the film are shot with wrestler Sourav Gurjar. It was in early 2020 that Brahmastra’s release date was finally announced and it was December 4, 2020.
