Rakul Preet and Arjun Kapoor’s untitled rom-com was just a schedule away from wrapping up the shoot. It was due to a nationwide lockdown that the shooting stalled. And since the lockdown, the unit of The Untold Movie has been unsure of their final stint that was to be shot in Europe. Now, as the filmmakers are slowly coming back to the set, the producers are preparing the way forward for the project.
According to a Mid-Day report, the film’s co-producer Madhu Bhojwani said-
“Keeping the safety protocols in mind, we will evaluate what can be shot locally. We will first film the indoor portions, and then, take a call on the pending shoot. Even as the restrictions are being lifted in India, we must proceed carefully”.
Director Kaashvie Nair and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikhil Advani and John Abraham, the film also stars Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.
The film is a cross-border rom-com and is a story of characters from India and Pakistan.
Looking at the current scenario, international travel is not on the cards. Asked by Madhu if she plans to recreate Mumbai in Europe to wrap up the schedule, she told the publication that they have not planned anything about it.
