South’s superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni will be named as the lead actor in the much-awaited film, titled Wild Dog. The latest reports said that the producers of Wild Dog are planning to release the film next year. News reports also stated that the actor is not keen on resuming filming of Wild Dog at any time. Media reports further mention how Nagarjuna Akkineni  hopes to resume shooting for Solomon directing after the coronavirus situation is brought under control. The outbreak of COVID-19 has forced the government to lock in worldwide to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Southern filmmakers had to postpone all their film production after the Indian government imposed a nationwide lockout. Worldwide film release was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Now, the lockdown ban has been loosened in many south states, with filmmakers resuming work related to films such as dubbing. Some filmmakers resumed their filming work with a minimal crew, reportedly to maintain social distance on the film’s set.

According to the news reports, the government of the states that allow the resumption of the film production work has issued strict rules, which all the people on the film set have to follow. The news update about Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming film Wild Dog also says that the film may release on an OTT platform. But there is no official update regarding the release date of the film.
