Mahesh Babu shares his father’s favorite all-time favorite classic Manasulu after completing 55 years in Tollywood

The legendary Telugu actor Krishna Ghattamaneni made his acting debut in Tene Mansulu. The romantic-drama released on 31 March 1985 was directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. The film featured Rammohan, Sandhya Rani and Sukanya in lead roles in his first acting films. It is based on K. R. K. Mohan’s novel Vakrinchina Sarala Rekhalu. In a film career spanning five decades, Krishna acted in over 350 films. Today, as the film completes 55 years, Mahesh Babu took to Instagram and shared Tene Manasulu as his all-time favorite classic film.

Taking to Instagram, Mahesh Babu wrote “My all time favourite #timelessclassic #TeneManasulu #Repost @mbofficialteam Our Evergreen SuperStar Krishna garu’s journey begun on this day 55 years back with TENE MANASULU. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu, who is following in his father’s footsteps in the industry, recently donated Rs 1.25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the current COVID-19 crisis.

Mahesh Babu wrote on twitter, “The lockdown situation adversely impacts the lives of daily wage cine workers. Will be contributing Rs. 25 lakhs towards Corona crisis charity for TFI workers. Requesting all fellow actors to come forward and make their contributions in these testing times #StayHomeStaySafe.”
