Following the thunderous response of Shefali Shah to the Delhi crime that hit the headlines, the makers have started work on its second version. The unit was holding the last program in Delhi when a nationwide lockdown in March forced them to shut it down and march back home. Six months after the entertainment industry started working, it is heard that directors Rajesh Mapuskar and Tanuj Chopra informed the team that the remaining parts of the police process would be shot in a studio in Mumbai.
According to a report by MidDay, a source saying—
The makers have begun working on the logistics, including getting dates from Shefali and the rest of the cast. They are eyeing to go on floors by the month-end.
The report also suggested that real-life IAS officer Abhishek Singh also joined the cast. Shefali Shah, who joined Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang in the second edition, confirmed the development of the series.
Helmed by Richie Mehta, the crime-drama is based on the Delhi gang-rape case, it extends the journey of the Delhi Police investigation to the men who hunt the criminals.
