Although the entertainment industry was initially at a loss as to how to go about their work in the early days of the national lockdown due to the epidemic, it seems that now things are slowly coming back to life and indeed this new normal type of business The world is thriving in Theaters are still closed for the future, so filmmakers have taken opportunity to release movies online on different digital platforms.
While the first film to do so was Gulabo Sitabo, many people missed the opportunity to watch new material at the click of their fingers. The three big films bound for release soon on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar were Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj and Big Bull. But now, we haven’t heard much about their release. Initially, Laxmmi Bomb was scheduled to be released on 9 September, but had to be postponed due to a last-minute patchwork shoot that was left according to a Bollywood Hungama report.
The same report suggests that after much consideration, the streaming platform has decided to pursue the release of these films due to the Indian Premier League. If Indians have anything more than films, it should be cricket. IPL is one of the biggest events in India and they do not want to reduce the impact of films because of it. The films are reportedly coming back by November. Bhuj and Big Bull are set for release in late November, and mid-December, while Laxmmi Bomb is looking to temporarily release the week of Diwali. There is some patchwork shoot left for Bhuj and Bigg Bull which will be completed by October.
It seems that we have to wait for a few months before watching these movies on our computer screens.
