Abbas-Mustan was allowed to shoot for their Netflix series ‘Penthouse’ after getting permission


The television and film industry is slowly returning to work. And now, as per the reports, it has been revealed that the director duo, Abbas-Mustan, is in the process of getting permission from the managing director of Maharashtra Film, Theater and Cultural Development Corporation (Film City), which runs its Netflix series titled Penthouse Will begin filming. Sharman Joshi will play the lead in the psychological thriller. According to reports, the actor was to begin shooting in the first week of April, however, it was delayed due to the nationwide lockout.

According to a Mid-Day report, sources indicate that the makers want to build a huge set of penthouse at Filmistan in Goregaon for the first stint. They are wait Film City’s permission to kickstart the shoot. Apparently, both are expected to begin shooting by mid-August.

The series will also mark Abbas and Mustan’s digital debut following their previous film, Machine which was released in 2017.
