The inspirational and ambitious story of Lal Singh Chaddha has taken actor-producer Aamir Khan and director Advait Chandan to many places across India. The film has so far traveled to Kolkata, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Amritsar. In addition, the unit was left with two major schedules pending in Delhi and Ladakh when a nationwide lockdown shooting was halted in March. Although the actor is sure not to start the shoot till October, Aamir khan and co-producer Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has decided to close the ladakh schedule considering the India-Chaina military standoff down the Galwan Valley.
According to a Mid-Day report, a source reveals
“Given the current scenario, shooting in Ladakh is out of the question. So, Aamir, Advait and the top brass at the studio are considering shifting the venue to Kargil. The final call will be taken in the coming weeks.”
Unlike many filmmakers who plan to go back to work, Aamir explicitly informs his co-producers that he does not want to endanger his cast and crew by resuming shooting.
